We keep enquiry emails for two years, after which they are securely delete them.

When you purchase a product or service from our website

When you purchase a product or service from us online, your payment is processed by a third-party provider. As part of the sale we ask you for your name, address, contact telephone number, email address. We also record your IP (Internet Protocol) address, which is the address of your computer on the Internet.

We will use your information to take payment for your purchase, process your order and to send you your products. We will also send you a receipt via email and we may use your telephone number to contact you regarding your purchase. We will also contact you asking for email addresses you would like adding to the Scribe system access.

We require this information in order to process your payment, deliver your products or services and fulfil our contract with you. We record your IP address in order to show that the correct tax was applied to the sale, which we are required to do by law. The payment provider will also retain records of the transaction as required by tax and financial laws applicable.

Your credit card details are provided directly via a Securely Encrypted HTTPS service to a third-party payment processor and our contract with them provides effective safeguards for your information. Depending on your location, more than one payment processor may be made available. This is controlled by our online store platform and is implemented automatically to facilitate international payments. We do not at any time receive or retain your payment card information. The only information we receive is a transaction reference and whether payment was successful or not. All payment providers are served through Securely Encrypted HTTPS services, please check for the “lock” symbol in your address bar to verify this before proceeding.

We may use the data provided to call and email you to share relevant services that may be of interest, gain feedback or provide other information that we think will be useful to you.

We keep your order information for an indefinite period, as the licenses we sell for our products do not expire.

When you sign up to receive our newsletter

When you sign up to receive our newsletter, we ask for your name and your email address.

We will ask for your consent to use your name and email address to email you our newsletter which contains information about our products and other information which we feel might be of interest to you. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop sending you the newsletter.

You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by following instructions on the emails you receive.

Additionally, we may utilise third party platforms to deliver webinars or e-learning content, and we may transfer your name and email address to their systems in order to provide the service you have requested. These platforms will also be hosted within the European Economic Area (EEA).

We use this information to email you a link or invite you to create an account within the relevant system so that you can access the content you have requested. We may also email or call you after your download in order to follow up on your interest in our products and services. We only contact you for up to one year after your last download, or no more than two months after the last scheduled contact, whichever is the later.
